Disney+ has confirmed it’s returning to Rutshire as season two of Rivals gets production underway.

Season two, which is based on Jilly Cooper’s book of the same name, will be made up of 12 episodes, four more than season one.

Disney+ has also confirmed the return of most of the cast, including

David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, Victoria Smurfit, and Claire Rushbrook.

They will once again be joined by Oliver Chris, Lisa McGrillis, Emily Atack, Rufus Jones, Luca Pasqualino,  Catriona Chandler and Annabel Scholey.

Details of when fans will get to see the new season have yet to be announced.
