The first image for Netflix’s crime thriller The Rip has been revealed, with the film’s release date also announced.

The film stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and is directed by Joe Carnahan.

The cast also includes Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Sasha Calle.

Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.

The Rip will debut on Netflix on 16th January, 2026.
