The first picture of Ryan Gosling in Star Wars: Starfighter has been released to mark the start of production on the film.

The film is being directed by Shawn Levy and is an entirely original story set in a period of time never before explored.

It will arrive in cinemas in May 2027.

Gosling will be joined by Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams.
