The world premiere of the stage production of The Hunger Games has landed a major coup with John Malkovich joining the cast.
He will play President Snow in the production, which will have its world premiere in London later this month.
Malkovich said: “I’m delighted to join the world premiere production of The Hunger Games in London, bringing this iconic story to the stage. Playing President Coriolanus Snow will be thrilling, because I have long been an admirer of Suzanne Collins’s novels, the films and Conor McPherson’s writing, and it is a privilege to take on this role.”
Malkovich joins Mia Carragher who will play Katniss Everdeen in the show.
Performances begin at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre on Monday, 20 October 2025, with a press night on 12 November 2025.
