Star Trek actor Chris Pine is to make his London stage debut in a new production of Ivanov.

The production, which is based on Anton Checkov’s play, will be staged at the Bridge Theatre.

It will begin previews on Saturday 4th July with an opening night scheduled for Tuesday 14th July. It will run for 11 weeks until Saturday 19th September.

Speaking about the news, Pine said: “I’m delighted to be collaborating with Simon Stone on his new production of Chehkov’s Ivanov. 

“I’m excited to bring this complex character and story to life and to take part in Simon’s singular creative process. It’s been over ten years since I was on stage and to be able to return to it in London at the beautiful Bridge Theatre is a thrill. I can’t wait to start.”
