The first trailer for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been released.

Alongside the trailer, Prime Video has announced Simon Pegg has joined the cast of the fantasy drama to give voice to the Balrog.

New cast members in season three also include Jamie Campbell Bower as Galadriel’s long-lost husband, Celeborn, and Zubin Varla as Khamûl the Easterling, of Rhûn.

Other new cast members include Adam Young as Marnûkh, a mysterious Orc who may not be what he seems

Eddie Marsan is playing King Durin IV’s older brother, Thrain, and Andrew Richardson is Elendil’s younger son and Isildur’s brother, Anarion.

Rather than a weekly rollout as with seasons one and two, the first four episodes of season three of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on November 11, 2026. 

Episodes 305 & 306 will be available to stream on November 18th, and the final two episodes of the season will be released on November 25th.
