Director Guillermo Del Toro will release his first book for children later this summer.

Del Toro has previously co-authored Strain, an adult vampire series.

Now he’s turning his attention to kids by teaming up with author Daniel Kraus to write Trollhunters.

The story is set in San Barnardino, California, where a 14-year-old boy called Jim is one of the few inhabitants to believe the rumours there are trolls in the area.

Trollhunters will be released simultaneously in the UK and the U.S. on June 30.
