Nicholas Winding Refn is releasing his debut book in September – a “coffee-table collection” of unique film posters.

The Act of Seeing will feature unique posters and stems from Refn’s New York childhood where he would wonder the city gazing at the strange art house film posters.

The book has been co-authored by FrightFest supremo Alan Jones and the pair will discuss its release at BFI Southbank on September 1.

A book signing at the Cinema Store on St Martin’s Lane follows on September 2 and the book itself will be released on September 14.
