Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s new film The Walk opens the New York Film Festival next week before rolling out internationally. As well as screening in the traditional format, it’ll also be released in IMAX and so there’s an IMAX trailer to enjoy.

JGL stars as Philippe Petit who, on 7 August 1974, high-wire walked between the two World Trade Center towers.

The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis of Back to the Future fame and co-stars Ben Kinglsey.

The Walk is released in the UK on October 2.
