It’s the first weekend of this year’s BFI London Film Festival and the stars are continuing to roll into Leicester Square.

Today’s big gala screening is The Program, about the rise and fall of cyclist Lance Armstrong. Stars Ben Foster and Chris O’Dowd will join director Stephen Frears on the red carpet.

Also at LFF today is Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen who’ll be attending a screening of his latest film, Men And Chicken, which takes place at Cine Lumiere this afternoon.

Tom Sturridge, Ed Speleers and Cush Jumbo are at the Tate Modern this evening to attend the Experimentia strand screening of their film, Remainder.
