This one may give kids nightmares, but Donald Trump has been turned into a children’s book.
Comedian Michael Ian Black has written A Child’s First Book of Trump to try and explain The Donald to kids.
According to the book’s Amazon page, the book is a “perfectly timely parodypicture book intended for adults that would be hysterical if it wasn’t so true.
The book aims to introduce “those unfamiliar with the Americus Trumpus to his distinguishing features and his mystifying campaign for world domination … sorry … President of the United States.”
The book describes its subject as “the beasty is called an American Trump. / Its skin is bright orange, its figure is plump. / Its fur so complex you might get enveloped. / Its hands though are, sadly, underdeveloped.”
A Child’s First Book of Trump goes on sale in the US on July 12 – the week before the Republican Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. No word yet on a UK release.
