The much-anticipated trailer for Marvel’s Doctor Strange has finally been released.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Stephen Vincent Strange, a former neurosurgeon who becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme and primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats.

Tilda Swinton plays Strange’s mentor, the Ancient One, with Chiwetel Ejiofor appearing as Baron Mordo, who also studies magic under the Ancient One.

Mads Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong are also among the cast with Scott Derrickson directing.

Doctor Strange is released in cinemas in November.
