For those of us eagerly awaiting the announcement of the new Doctor Who companion, all will be revealed on Saturday.

The BBC have announced they will finally tell us who’s joining Peter Capaldi in the TARDIS at half time during the Manchester United v Everton FA Cup Semi-Final.

Which, for non-football fans, would mean around 6-6.15pm UK time.

With the issues around the two teams at the moment, it wouldn’t surprise me if the new companion is either Louis van Gaal or Roberto Martinez!

It’s interesting as to why the BBC have decided to announce now. There’s no filming due at the moment…is there?
