It looks like the rumoured concert featuring the likes of Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Roger Waters and Bob Dylan is going ahead.
I first talked about this on the radio a couple of weeks ago, but now it looks like it’s definitely happening with many of the acts posting teasers on their social media accounts.
The mega-festival, or Oldchella as it’s been dubbed, is expected to take place at the Coachella site in California from October 7-9.
The plan is two of the six Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees to play each night, with Dylan and the Rolling Stones opening up the festival on the Friday night. Saturday would see Neil Young and the Promise of the Real performing before Paul McCartney. The Who and Waters would end the festival on Sunday night.
Here’s what the Stones and Macca posted. No official announcement yet.
