Strictly Come Dancing winner Jay McGuiness is leading the cast of a new stage musical based on Big, the 1980s film which starred Tom Hanks.

McGuiness will be joined in the show by Gary Wilmot, Denise Van Outen, Diana Vickers and Irwin Sparkes (the lead singer of The Hoosiers).

The show will open at Theatre Royal, Plymouth on November 5, running through to November 12, and then moves to Dublin’s Bord Gais Theatre from December 7 till January 7.

If the show goes well, and attracts an audience, then producers hope to bring it into the West End.
