Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander feature in the new poster for award-hopeful The Light Between Oceans.

The film is based on the bestselling novel by ML Stedman and tells the  story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Australia who discover a baby adrift in a rowboat.

When they decide to raise the child as their own, the consequences of their choice will change their lives forever.

The film is directed by Derek Cianfrance and also stars Rachel Weisz.

It’s released in the UK on November 4.
