Minds Kaling and Emma Thompson are set to star in a new film set behind the scenes of a late-night TV talk show.

The film, written by Kaling, Follows a late-night talk show host (think Jimmy Fallon, James Corden), played by Thompson, was is danger of losing her show, so she hires her first female writer.

Apparently it’s a mix of The Devil Wears Prada and Broadcast News.

The film doesn’t have a title yet and also there’s no studio attached – but that should change very soon.

Any film that stars two strong, funny women is one I’m going to look forward to!
