Sherlock’s Amanda Abbington leads the cast of a new stage production of comedy Abigail’s Party.

The production is being staged at Theatre Royal Bath before heading out on a UK tour.

The play is about a drinks party hosted by Beverly (Abbington) which descends into chaos as she invites round her new neighbours.

Ben Caplan will play Beverly’s husband Laurence, with Rose Keegan, Charlotte Mills and Ciaran Owens also in the cast.

The play will open in Bath on March 8 before embarking on a UK tour, which includes Oxford, Cambridge, Eastbourne and Richmond.
