Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Scott and Kathy Burke are lending their voices to a new animated series for CBeebies.

School of Roars follows five mini-monsters through their school day as they learn ‘monstery lessons’ in maths, music, cookery and life.

The class is taught by the loveable Miss Grizzlesniff, who is voiced by Kathy Burke.

Sarah Lancashire plays the Headmonstress, Mrs Twirlyhorn, and Andrew Scott is the show’s narrator, as well as other characters, including the school’s cookery teacher Mr Marrow.

The show will be supported by interactive content including games apps, story apps and a website.
