Elisabeth Moss and Gwendoline Christie will attend a special preview of drama Top of the Lake at the BFI Southbank in May.

The duo will join director Jane Campion at the preview of the first two episodes on May 30.

The new series also features Nicole Kidman.

Top of the Lake: China Girl is a crime mystery story that begins four years on from the ending of series one. After the shocking events that rocked her hometown in New Zealand, Detective Robin Griffin, broken, fragile and recently returned to Sydney, is trying to rebuild her life.

When the body of an Asian girl washes up on Bondi Beach, there appears little hope of finding the killer, until Robin realises ‘China Girl’ didn’t die alone.

Tickets are available for BFI members from April 4 and the public from April 11.
