Two directing icons hit the BFI London Film Festival today in the form of David Fincher and Guillermo del Toro.

Fincher is in town for the gala screening of the first episode of his new TV series Mindhunter. He’ll be joined at the event at BFI Southbank by the show’s star Jonathan Groff.

Guillermo del Toro will be at the screening of his new film The Shape of Water – which is already being talked about as a potential Oscar nominee.

Finally the Brits as back at LFF this evening as Kristin Scott Thomas, Timothy Spall, Emily Mortimer and Cillian Murphy attend the UK premiere of their new film The Party alongside director Sally Potter.
