Strike star Tom Burke will lead the cast if a new theatre production of Don Carlos next year.

He will play Rodrigo, Marquis of Posa, in director Gadi Roll’s touring production of Don Carlos, which starts performances at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter next October, before moving to the Nuffield in Southampton and then the Rose in Kingston.

Don Carlos is about the icy relationship between the title character and his father.

The play will open on Exeter on October 11 2018 before moving on to the Nuffield from October 23rd before finishing its mini-tour in Kingston on November 6th.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see it transfer into London given Burke’s star is on the rise thanks to his role in the adaptation of JK Rowling’s Cormorran Strike books.
