Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr will make his London stage debut in Chicago when it returns to the West End this spring.

The actor will play Billy Flynn in the musical which is currently scheduled for a one year run at The Phoenix Theatre from March 26th.

No other cast has been announced yet.

Chicago is set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, and follows Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her.
