Guillermo del Toro will attend a screening of his new film The Shape of Water in London on the day before the BAFTA Film Awards.
del Toro will discuss the film (which I’m tipping as this year’s Best Picture winner) at the screening at Curzon Soho.
The film is set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963.
In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
The screening and Q&A takes place in Saturday 17 February.
You can book tickets via the Curzon website.
