Here’s our first look at Jenna Coleman in new BBC drama The Cry.

The drama sees Coleman return to the modern day following her recent work in ITV’s Victoria.

The Cry sees Coleman star as a woman travelling with her husband and baby from Scotland to Australia to visit his mother and fight for custody of his daughter against his Australian ex-wife. But when they arrive in Australia the couple face a tragedy that changes their lives and marriage.

The cast includes Ewen Leslie and Stella Gonet.

Filming is now underway in Melbourne, Australia.
