Here’s our first look at John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot in the BBC’s adaptation of The ABC Murders.

Malkovich’s Poirot is on the hunt for a sadistic killer in a three-part limited series which sees the famed detective tracking a killer who leaves a copy of the ABC Railway guide with every body as he strikes in Andover, Bexhill and so-on.

The cast also includes Rupert Grint as Poirot sceptic Inspector Crome, Andrew Buchan, Freya Mavor and Eamon Farren.

It’s interesting to see Malkovich take on Poirot who was so recently played by Kenneth Branagh in Murder on the Orient Express.
