Richard Madden and Keeley Hawes will discuss their new BBC drama Bodyguard at the BFI in August.
The pair will attend a screening and Q&A of the six-part series at BFI Southbank on Monday 6th August. Tickets go on sale on July 10th via the BFI’s website.
The series tells the fictional story of David Budd (Madden), a heroic but volatile war veteran now working for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London’s Metropolitan Police Service.
When he’s assigned to protect the ambitious and powerful Home Secretary Julia Montague (Hawes), Budd finds himself torn between his duty and his beliefs. Responsible for her safety, could he become her biggest threat?
Expect to see it on screen a few weeks after the event.
