Hayley Atwell looks set to join Tom Cruise in the seventh Mission: Impossible film.

Director Christopher McQuarrie posted the news on his Instagram account, writing “Should you choose to accept…” and a photo of Atwell.

No details about her character have been revealed, and we also don’t know anything about the plot.

What we do know is the the seventh Mission: Impossible film is due to be released in July 2021, with an eighth following in August 2022.
