Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders have joined the all-star cast of Death on the Nile, the second big screen outing for Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot.

It hasn’t been announced which characters they’re playing so we have no idea if they’ll appear on screen together.

The film has attracted another who’s who of Hollywood, similar to the cast of Branagh’s first film as Agatha Christie’s famed detective, Murder on the Orient Express.

This time he will star alongside Tom Bateman (who reprises the role of Bouc from from the first film), Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright.

Production is already underway with the film due to be released in October 2020.
