Actor and QI star Alan Davies has signed a deal to publish his memoirs.

The book, titled Just Ignore Him, has been described as “a beautifully told story of resilience and redemption, sometimes blackly comic, frequently heart breaking.”

Davies will chart the landscape of his 1970s Essex upbringing – before and after his mother’s death when he was six years old – and his relationship with his controlling, abusive father.

The book will be published in September 2020.
