Bradley Cooper has reportedly been approached to play Barry Gibb by the producers of a new film about the Bee Gees.
There’s no word on what his response has been, although he is said to have held informal discussions.
According to Baz Bamigboye, the film will follow the brothers Gibb (Barry, Maurice and Robin) from the time they first arrive in London from Australia and had their first number one with the song Massachusetts.
The band fizzled out until the brothers moved to Miami and began developing a new sound which incorporated their falsetto harmonies with disco dance rhythms.
The untitled Bee Gees film is being written by Anthony McCarten, who was Oscar-nominated for his latest film, The Two Popes.
