Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones has signed a deal to write two more books.

Jones’ debut, Never Greener, was released in 2018 and her second novel, Us Three– a moving story about the abiding power of female friendship, told over four decades – is out on 3rd September.

It was originally due to be released in May, but pushed back due to the coronavirus outbreak, which would have meant Jones couldn’t publicise the release at events.

Details of the new books have not been revealed and a publication date is yet to be announced.

Speaking about the deal, Jones said: “I have been on the best journey. I never thought I’d write a novel and now I’ve written two! And the journey has so far been fantastic. I look forward immensely to the next two-book stage of the adventure. Here we go!”
