Michael J Fox will publish his fourth memoir later this year.
No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality is due to be released in November.
The actor’s previous memoirs, Lucky Man and Always Looking Up, chronicled how he came to terms with being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 29, while exhibiting his iconic optimism.
In No Time Like the Future, Fox reassesses this outlook, while sharing stories and observations about illness and health, ageing, the strength of family and friends, and how our perceptions about time affect the way we approach mortality.
“What’s exciting for me is that this new book is less memoir and more perspective,” Fox said. “I consider questions I believe we all have about our lives: who am I? where am I? where am I going? I don’t want to give anything away, but I think I’ve figured it out.”
