The first images for the film adaptation of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie have been released.
The musical stars Max Harwood as Jamie, Richard E Grant as Hugh/Loco Chanelle, Sharon Horgan as Miss Hedges and Sarah Lancashire as Jamie’s mum, Margaret.
Jamie is a 16-year-old living on a council estate in Sheffield and doesn’t quite fit in.
Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.
Based on the award-winning stage production, the film is due to open on 21st October.
