Although the show hasn’t launched in the US yet, producers are already in talks for a second season of Alex Rider.
The show, based on Anthony Horowitz’s books, follows the titular British teenager, who has been trained as a spy since childhood and is recruited by Department of Special Operations, a subdivision of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), to infiltrate a controversial corrective academy for the wayward offspring of the ultra-rich.
Otto Farrant leads the cast as Rider, alongside Stephen Dillane, Vicky McClure and Ronke Adekoluejo.
Producers Sony are said to be close to finding a home for the series in the US, Australia and China.
