The cast of the new musical based on Back To The Future will release an official cast recording of the show next year.

To whet fans’ appetites, a video from one of the featured tracks has been released.

Starring Olly Dobson and Roger Bart, the stage production had an initial premiere in Manchester and will transfer to the West End from May.

Based on the film, the stage production follows Marty, a rock ‘n’ roll teenager who is accidentally transported back to 1955 in a time-travelling DeLorean invented by his friend, Dr Brown. But before he can return to 1985, Marty must make sure his high school-aged parents fall in love in order to save his own existence.

The musical will feature new music and lyrics by both the Emmy and Grammy Award-winning Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award-winning Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B Goode.

The official cast recording will be released in early summer 2021.
