The second season of Amazon’s sky drama Alex Rider looks set to begin production in January.
The first series, which is due to launch on IMDb TV in the US soon, centres on a British teenager named Alex Rider, who has been trained as a spy since childhood and is recruited by the Department of Special Operations, a subdivision of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), to infiltrate a controversial corrective academy for the wayward offspring of the ultra-rich.
The new series is expected to begin filming in Bristol from 25th January, with production due to last for 22 weeks.
Otto Farrant stars as Alex Rider, alongside Stephen Dillane and Vicky McClure as members of The Department.
