US streaming service HBO Max is reportedly working on a Harry Potter TV series.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, there are no details yet as to what the show’s focus would be, or where it would sit in the Potter timeline.

There is also no information about casting as the project is only in the early stages of development.

In fact, HBO has told HR that “there are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform,” so make of that what you will.

It really wouldn’t be a surprise if the Potterverse continued to be expanded in some way. It’s still as hugely popular as ever – just look at how well Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has done on stage.
