Kenneth Branagh is heading back on the stage once again to star in and direct a new production of Terrence Rattigan’s The Browning Version.
Branagh will play the lead role of Andrew Crocker-Harris in the race and gender blind production.
Lolita Chakrabarti will star alongside him as Millie Crocker-Harris, with Kemi Awoderu portraying Taplow of the Lower 5th. Wendy Kweh has been cast as headmaster Dr. Frobisher.
Also featured are Victor Alli, Sarah Eve, and Joseph Kloska.
The Browning Version is currently set for a three week run at Riverside Studios in London. Performances will begin on 5th August.
The play is set on the last day at school of Andrew Crocker-Harris, a brilliant but unpopular public school classics teacher who is married to unfaithful Millie.
