A prequel TV series about Grease’s Pink Ladies has been given the green light.

It will be set four years before the events of Grease.

Unfortunately it won’t feature Rizzo, Frenchie and the rest of the gang. It’s also not been revealed whether the new show will be a musical.

Instead the show will focus on brand new characters who have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.

No details yet on who will be starring in the show, or when we’ll get to see it.
