Christopher Walken and Eleanor Tomlinson lead the cast of new BBC comedy series The Outlaws, written and directed by Stephen Merchant.

The pair star alongside Merchant, Rhianne Barreto, Gamba Cole, Darren Boyd, Clare Perkins, Jessica Gunning and Charles Babalola.

The Outlaws follows seven strangers from different walks of life forced together to complete a Community Payback sentence in Bristol.

At first, they seem like archetypes we can easily pigeonhole, but gradually they step away from their façades to reveal hidden depths, and what made them the people they are today.

The six-part series will air this autumn on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and then later on Amazon Prime Video in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Nordic countries.
