HBO Max has released the first official images of its upcoming series about famed American cook Julia Child.

The series stars Sarah Lancashire as Julia with David Hyde Pierce as her husband, Paul. His Frasier co-star Bebe Neuwirth plays Julia’s friend Avis.

The series is inspired by Julia Child’s extraordinary life and her long-running television series, The French Chef, which pioneered the modern cooking show.

Julia will premiere on HBO Max on 31st March.
