Hollywood actor/director Ben Stiller is reportedly in talks to star in a new production of The Shining, which will open in London in 2023.
According to Deadline, Ivo Van Howe has adapted Stephen King’s classic, with Stiller in talks to play Jack Torrance.
The report suggests the theatre production will stick closer to the book than Stanley Kubrick’s film.
No further details have been confirmed. While never before appearing on the London stage, Stiller has performed on Broadway in House of Blue Leaves in 2011.
