Jude Law is moving from one major franchise (Harry Potter) to another after being announced as the lead in new Star Wars TV series, Skeleton Crew.

The show takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi, the same time period as The Mandalorian.

Apparently, within Lucasfilm, it’s being described as a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.

It is being executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts.

No details of who Law will be playing have been revealed.
