Taron Egerton has revealed he has met with Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige and that he would be “excited, but apprehensive” to take on the role of Wolverine.

In an interview with the New York Times, the actor said: “Hugh [Jackman] is so associated with the role that I’d wonder if it’d be very difficult for someone else to do it.

“But hopefully if it does come around, they’ll give me a shot.”

Egerton and Jackman worked together on the comedy Eddie the Eagle.

Will it happen? We’ll just have to wait and see.
