BAFTA has announced its 2023 Film Awards ceremony will take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre on February 19th.
The event is moving to the Southbank from the Royal Albert Hall, where it has taken place since 2016. It has previously been held at Odeon Leicester Square and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
“The Royal Albert Hall has been a wonderful home to us for the last six years,” said Emma Baehr, executive director of awards and content at BAFTA.
“As we embark on the next chapter in an incredibly exciting year for film, we can’t wait to kick off our new residency at the Royal Festival Hall with BAFTA’s most ambitious celebration yet.”
No details yet on who will be hosting the event. The nominations will be revealed on 19th January.
