Sky has dropped the Oscars after deciding not to renew its deal to broadcast the ceremony in the UK.

According to Deadline, discussions are underway to find a new UK broadcaster for the awards.

Sky has held the rights to the Oscars for the last 20 years, often launching an Oscars-themed channel around the ceremony.

The 96th Academy Awards take place on 10th March 2024 (11th March UK time).
