Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa will lead the cast of a new Audible adaptation of Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield.

He’ll appear alongside  Helena Bonham Carter, Theo James, Jessie Buckley, Richard Armitage, Jack Lowden and Toby Jones.

The series is being produced by Sam Mendes.

According to Audible, it “explores the complexities and intimacies of the Steerforth relationship beyond anything possible in Dickens’ day”.

The series is due to be released on 30th November.
