Thomas Brodie-Sangster leads the cast of a new Disney Plus series based on The Artful Dodger from Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist.

In the eight-part series, The Dodger goes by his real name Jack Dawkins and has now moved to Australia, where he works as a surgeon.

However, his days of pickpocketing aren’t as far behind him as they might seem when Fagin (David Thewlis) arrives in Oz to try and lure him back into a life of crime.

The cast also includes Tim Minchin.

The Artful Dodger is scheduled to premiere Disney Plus in Australia on 29th November.
