Good Omens creator Neil Gaiman has given hope to fans waiting for news about a possible third season.
The Amazon Prime show hasn’t been officially confirmed to return, but writing on Bluesky, Gaiman said he has been hired to write a third season.
Gaiman also said he wrote a first draft of Episode 1 and the final fifteen pages of Episode 6 prior to the WGA strike.
“If we shot it in 2024, it would probably be released in early ’26,” he added. “We started shooting S2 in October 2021. It’s about a year in post-production from wrap to release.”
Sounds like the omens for the show’s return are good.
